Matted 8×10 Drawing
I was on a bike ride recently and came across some sheep grazing in a field. I wasn't in a hurry so I decided to stop and watch them for a few minutes. I noticed one of the younger ones keeping an eye on me as I observed all the activity in the field. Not sure what it was about this particular sheep, but I loved the look of curiosity next to another one mindlessly grazing. It sort of reminded me of my students. Some are tracking with you and filled with curiosity while others could care less so long as they are being entertained and fed. I like the more curious ones that are able to lift their eyes from a phone screen and see the world around them.
