16×20 Oil Painting on Linen Panel
While hiking with my 16 year old son, he came across this little pool of water and waterfall and yelled up to me to check it out. It was late afternoon so the light was selectively hitting the upper rocks, the pool and lower rocks. It was a nice interplay between the coolness of the shaded areas and warmth of the sunlight. The painting is based off a photo that he had taken.
